It has been nearly four years since I’ve released a book as Tricia Mingerink (though I have been very busy releasing books under my general market fantasy pen name).
But, finally, I have a new book up for preorder! The long-awaited fourth and final book in the Beyond the Tales series is up for preorder and releasing on September 30!
I’m pleased to finally announce…
Goose Princess (Beyond the TAles Book 4)
About the book:
Before he can have peace, he has one last curse to face.
In the three years since he woke from his enchanted sleep, High King Alexander has faced multiple curses, nearly died, and re-united the Seven Kingdoms of Tallahatchia. He has watched everyone around him find peace and happiness. Is it finally time for him to secure happiness for himself?
When an old enemy strikes once again, Alex finds himself on the run, hunted in his own kingdom, and all alone except for the most unlikely ally: a princess who can’t talk to people and her gaggle of goose brothers.
With his enemies closing around him, Alex must make a choice. Will he rescue his best friend or save his kingdom? And, after everything he suffered, does he even want to be the high king or is this his chance to walk away and pursue his own happy ending?
Goose Princess is a retelling of the Goose Girl and Wild Swans fairy tales. Enjoy this fourth and final book in Beyond the Tales, a Christian fantasy fairy tale retelling series!
In this book, High King Alexander will finally get his happily ever after. I’m so happy to finally wrap up this series so that it isn’t left hanging.
As part of releasing the final book in the series, I will also be making minor updates to the previous books in the series. All of the books have the subtitles added to the covers, and the backs of the paperbacks will soon be updated to be easier to read. I’ve commissioned a new map, which should also be easier to read than the previous one. So be on the lookout for that!
Seven Lost Kerchiefs!
Even better, this book is just one of SEVEN Goose Girl retellings that will be coming at the end of September! I’ve teamed up with six other authors to bring you a variety of retellings on this fascinating fairy tale!

Just look at these pretty covers! There is a Goose Girl retelling for everyone in this collection! All of them are clean, though not all of them are specifically Christian-themed like mine is.

Yes, finally! I’ve been waiting for Alex’s story for ages. I’m sorry that this series is coming to an end. It’s honestly my favourite series ever. I can’t wait to read all of these Goose Girl retellings too! I love your books so much and I want to read others. Do you mind telling me what your pen name is so I can read those books as well? Thank you so much!

Savannah Jezowski at Dragonpen Designs did the covers for Beyond the Tales. However, she is winding down her design business to focus on her own books. I have also worked with Moorbooks Design, Deranged Doctor Design, and Get Covers.
